​I was introduced to volleyball at age 10 and about the same time as basketball. I quickly started to find ways to improve my skills and be the best I could be. My love for volleyball grew faster than I expected, I was 12 when I first played for my school's team. It was then that I knew volleyball was going to be my life's sport. I got drafted at the age of 16 to play for an adult club team in Ghana, and the following year, I played for their National Team. At age 17, I got an offer to play professional in Spain for Voleibol Almería Club for 3 years.
In America, I saw the urgent need to coach and train young players into high performance athletes with good morals. I later then established the Royal Legends Volleyball Club in 2012.

Position played: Outside hitter, Middle hitter, and Right side hitter

Specialties:  Precision power hitter, Jump serves: Floater, Hybrid, and Top spin. Game strategies, in game adjustments, Defense, Vertical training, Total body training, and building  players into high performance athletes.

Certification:  IMPACT, SAFESPORT & HEADS UP Certified

Club Director and Head Coach for Royal Legends VBC. 2012 to present.
Assistant volleyball coach at Villa Maria Academy High School in Malvern PA.
Club Voleibol Almería, ( Superliga League) Spain.1999-2000 Ghana National Volleyball Team (GVA) 1998
Member of Confederation Africaine De Volleyball (CAVB), Ghana Airforce Volleyball Club, 1998-2000
I was a coach-player for my high school. I acted as an assistant coach and my responsibilities  were to train the outside hitters how to hit with power and control. I was also in-charge of the team’s vertical jump program.
As a coach, I spend most of my extra time doing technical training and private session to help develop as many players as I can into high performance athlete.

My wife and I love the sport of volleyball and most of all; we share the passion of coaching the sport we love best together.

Rob has coached volleyball for three years at the Brandywine Youth Club.  He coached club volleyball last year with Philly Storm as the head coach of a 14's team. He will be coaching this club season with Royal Legends.  He has played volleyball since the age of 15 and still plays weekly.  He believes in leading by example and being a good teammate.
