I was introduced to volleyball at age 10 and about the same time as basketball. I quickly started to find ways to improve my skills and get ahead. My love for volleyball grew faster than I expected, I was 12 when I first played for my school's team. It was then that I knew volleyball was going to be the best sport for me. I got drafted at the age of 15 to play for Ghana Custom's volleyball, and the following year, I played for their National Team. At age 17, I got an offer to play professional in Spain for Voleibol Almería Club. After a few years of playing there, I migrated to the United States to unite with my family and focus on my education.
Position played: Outside hitter, Middle hitter, and Opposite hitter Specialties: Power hitter and precision, Jump serving; float, top spin, and hybrid. I also train players into high performance athletics in all aspect of the game, and most of all the culture and value of being on a team. Tuan has been coaching for Royal Legends since 2021. Tuan loves the game of volleyball and is consistently eager to pass knowledge on.
His volleyball experience began academically at the University of Maryland where he learned the fundamentals of volleyball through his coursework. Tuan has played competitive volleyball for over 30 years. He has competed in leagues and tournaments at the AA level. Tuan loves coaching and helping improve everyone he comes in contact with. Chuan has been coaching with Royal Legends since 2018. He has over 25 years of volleyball experience, playing both indoor and beach volleyball. He started playing and learning volleyball from his dad and siblings, then played for his high school as a setter/rs hitter while also playing football. He continued to play club and intramural volleyball at The University of Pittsburgh. Now Chuan stays involved by coaching and active by playing in adult volleyball leagues throughout the year with his son and two daughters.

Abby played all through high school at Great Valley High School. After high school, Abby moved on to play at the University of Kutztown. Regina (Gina) is a former player for Royal Legends volleyball club. Gina has been coaching for Royal Legends since 2021. She started playing volleyball in middle school and continued through out high school at Downingtown West as a Defense Specialist.
After high school and club volleyball, Regina attended the University of Scranton Pennsylvania, where she played as a Libero/Defense Specialist for 4 years and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Counseling and Human Services. I began playing volleyball in 5th grade at St. Mary’s in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was there that I was lucky enough to have great coaches to foster a love of the sport and provide a solid foundation of skills. I began playing club volleyball in 8th grade. From then on I continued to push myself to play better as well as teaching my younger sister to play. I played on Newman High School’s JV team as a freshman and started on the Varsity team as a sophomore while continuing to play club volleyball in the off season. My senior year in high school, I got a scholarship to play volleyball for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where I started for all four years. Currently I continue to find ways to play volleyball through Women and Coed competitive tournaments.

I was introduced to volleyball in 5th grade while living in Tulsa, Oklahoma and immediately fell in love with the sport. I went to Villa Maria Academy High School and played on their high school team all 4 years. I played with Valley Forge Club, floating between playing Middle and Outside. I played for Penn State Mont Alto as an outside hitter and was their first All-American player as a part of the USCAA league and was recognized by the PSUAC multiple times.
I've been coaching since I graduated form college and was formerly head coach at St. Elizabeth's in Chester Springs, PA. I've coached multiple age groups in my time as a coach. I'm currently an assistant coach at Villa Maria Academy High School and this will be my second year with Royal Legends. My favorite part about coaching is seeing the growth in the girls not only skill wise but also form a team stand point as well. Positions Played: Outside Hitter and Middle Hitter. Kyndall began playing volleyball at 14 years old at her high school. She played club starting at 16 and won Nationals with her team in 2015.
She went on to play as a middle blocker at Hampton University while studying biochemistry and psychology. She was the team captain for three seasons. She is now pursuing a PhD in neuroscience at The University of Pennsylvania and remains active by playing intramural volleyball there and being a cycling instructor. Kyndall is a firm believer in coaching the mental as much as coaching the physical. Certification: IMPACT, Safesport, Heads UP, Concussion Certified. |
Anna played volleyball at Penn State Brandywine. She started coaching for Royal Legends since 2024.
2023: USCAA Second Team All-American...First Team All-PSUAC...competed in 19 matches, totaling 63 sets...team leader in kills with 176...averaged 2.79 kills per set. PSUAC All-Academic Team 2022: USCAA All-American honorable mention...First Team All-PSUAC...started all 23 matches...led team with 216 kills...ranked 10th in PSUAC and 16th in USCAA in kills.. Coach Caitlin has been the girls varsity coach at Downingtown East since 2021 and also runs the boys club volleyball program there. Before coaching at East, Caitlin was an assistant head coach for the boys volleyball team at South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Connecticut, coached the JV girls volleyball team at Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut, and served as head coach for both the boys and girls 18u teams at the Husky Volleyball Club. She continues to play in a women's A league in Plymouth Meeting and plays grass doubles in the summer.
Coach Caitlin's goal is to teach players the mental game as well as the physical game of volleyball. She is working to develop players who are hard workers, play strategically, support their teammates, and are good people on and off the court. Grant is the assistant varsity volleyball coach at Downingtown East High School and the Head coach for the boys volleyball program. He has been coaching at Downingtown East High School since 2024.
He also was the assistant varsity coach at Council Rock North High School volleyball team, boys and girls from 2022-2024. Grant has been coaching for Royal Legends since 2024. He has experience in working with younger kids in the high school. He also brings his volleyball skills of Defensive Specialist with high energy to Royal Legends. Grant is also a middle school teacher at the Lionville Middle School. He brings a wealth of knowledge in developing youth athletes social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
