Coach Lydia is currently the assistant volleyball coach at Muhlenberg college. She also was the head varsity coach at Stroudsburg for 5 years. She also coached a couple of club teams though the years, Infinity and Cross Court.

I was introduced to volleyball at age 10 and about the same time as basketball. I quickly started to find ways to improve my skills and get ahead. My love for volleyball grew faster than I expected, I was 12 when I first played for my school's team. It was then that I knew volleyball was going to be the best sport for me. I got drafted at the age of 15 to play for Ghana Custom's volleyball, and the following year, I played for their National Team. At age 17, I got an offer to play professional in Spain for Voleibol Almería Club. After a few years of playing there, I migrated to the United States to unite with my family and focus on my education.
Position played: Outside hitter, Middle hitter, and Opposite hitter Specialties: Power hitter and precision, Jump serving; floater, top spin, and hybrid. I also train players into high performance athletics, and most of all the oneness of being a team. Chuan has been coaching with Royal Legends since 2018. He has over 25 years of volleyball experience, playing both indoor and beach volleyball. He started playing and learning volleyball from his dad and siblings, then played for his high school as a setter/rs hitter while also playing football. He continued to play club and intramural volleyball at The University of Pittsburgh. Now Chuan stays involved by coaching and active by playing in adult volleyball leagues throughout the year with his son and two daughters.

I began playing volleyball in 5th grade at St. Mary’s in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin. It was there that I was lucky enough to have great coaches to foster a love of the sport and provide a solid foundation of skills. I began playing club volleyball in 8th grade. From then on I continued to push myself to play better as well as teaching my younger sister to play. I played on Newman High School’s JV team as a freshman and started on the Varsity team as a sophomore while continuing to play club volleyball in the off season. My senior year in high school, I got a scholarship to play volleyball for the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia where I started for all four years. Currently I continue to find ways to play volleyball through Women and Coed competitive tournaments.
Position played: Outside hitter, Middle hitter, Right side hitter, Libero/Defensive Specialist Specialties: Hitting, Blocking, Jump serving and top spin, and Defense. Certification: IMPACT, SAFE SPORT, HEADS UP and Concussion Certified Experience: Coaching: I have been coaching youth volleyball for over 12 years. NCAA University of the Sciences Varsity Volleyball Team Captain, 2005-2008 Club Volleyball Airborne, Wisconsin Extreme, Central Wisconsin-2000-2005 I coached a high school team for their summer league. 2005 I have met my best friends through the sport of volleyball, including my husband. It is a sport that brings people together and teaches the importance of team. My husband and I aim to foster a love of the sport and self-motivation to push one’s self to become the best they can be. |
Coach Caitlin has been the girls varsity coach at Downingtown East since 2021 and also runs the boys club volleyball program there. Before coaching at East, Caitlin was an assistant head coach for the boys volleyball team at South Windsor High School in South Windsor, Connecticut, coached the JV girls volleyball team at Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut, and served as head coach for both the boys and girls 18u teams at the Husky Volleyball Club. She continues to play in a women's A league in Plymouth Meeting and plays grass doubles in the summer.
Coach Caitlin's goal is to teach players the mental game as well as the physical game of volleyball. She is working to develop players who are hard workers, play strategically, support their teammates, and are good people on and off the court.
